Here is an opportunity to experience Yoga in its depth and dimension. Hatha Yoga stems from a deep understanding of the mechanics of the body, and uses yogic postures, or yogasanas, to enable the system to sustain higher dimensions of energy.

YOGA FOR SPINAL HEALTH

According to medical science, the entire neurosensory system flows through the spine – in the Yogic science, the spine is considered the most important part of the body. If we are to live a healthy and balanced life physically, psychologically and emotionally, it is of up-most importance that the spine be kept in optimal condition. During this two hour workshop you can learn simple methods to maintain spinal health and gently activate the joints for a life of ease and friction-free activity.

Fitness

YOGA FOR FITNESS

 

This two hour intensive workshop will take you through the initial steps of a Yogic fitness regime known as ‘Angamardana’ – meaning ‘to have mastery over the limbs’. With its roots in Yoga, Angamardana is an ideal practice for those wanting to gain strength, agility and overall fitness. This practice empowers the body and energizes the entire system leading to a sense of clarity and intellectual sharpness.

YOGA FOR INNER BALANCE

In order to live life effortlessly, there must be balance. Incorporating Yogic postures, pranayam and chanting, this two hour workshop offers participants the chance to learn simple, yet powerful techniques to maintain a balanced body and mind. Frequent practice of these easy-to-learn tools leads to a lasting sense of calm, clarity and stillness – a welcome liberation from the hustle and bustle of modern living.

YOGA FOR KIDS

 

As well as classes for adults, Isha Hatha Yoga provides excellent opportunities for children aged three and up to learn simple practices for their health and wellbeing. Regular upkeep of these practices can improve sleep quality, concentration, memory and help to keep children of all ages active and energized throughout these important years of growth and development.

Offered in a safe and fun environment, children can learn simple tools for self empowerment from an experienced and knowledgeable Isha Hatha Yoga Teacher.
