Group yoga classes are a modern invention. In its early days, the practice was passed down from one teacher to one student. In a private session, I pay a special attention to a personal performance of practices, helping you to understand the mechanics of the poses. I support you to build your custom yoga routine which is tailored to meet your individual daily schedule.
As a yoga teacher, I often hear people say: "I am just not flexible enough. I can never be good at yoga." If you’ve never done yoga before, chances are you aren’t that flexible. As everything else in life, you can’t expect to start jogging as a marathon runner either. In the beginning, you need to learn how to consciously work with your body & mind. Increased flexibility comes with practice. Also, there is no such thing as being terrible at yoga. Yoga is a lifestyle, not a competition, It is a journey that is between you and your inner self.
YOGA FOR KIDS
"It is very important that early in life, a child gets exposed to the right things, things that work from within because arrangements we make in the world around us can only be managed to a certain extent." -Sadhguru
Children program introduces yoga to children, led through an exploration of fun, love and joy, allowing each child to develop and live in optimal health and inner peace. It consists of an introduction to yoga practices including a few life-enhancing asanas and kriyas.
Participants often experience enhanced concentration and memory, more focus, and improved mind-body coordination. The practices learnt help prevent obesity, asthma, sinusitis and other chronic ailments.
"You cannot do meditation but you can become meditative. Meditation is a certain quality. It is not a certain act. If you cultivate your body, your mind, your energies and your emotions to a certain level of maturity, meditation will naturally happen. It is just like if you keep the soil fertile if you give it the necessary manure and water and if the right kind of seed is there, it will grow and bloom into flowers and fruits." -Sadhguru
